The purpose of this app is to help people to effectively protect themselves from UV radiation, which can cause sunburn, eye damage, skin aging and skin cancer.

UV Index is an international standard for the strength of ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun at a specific position on a given day. This typically occurs when the sun is at its highest, ie at midday.
